Recruitment Schedule

  • The Interfraternity Council or IFC conducts membership recruitment during 0  Week in the fall quarter.  Typically, there is an orientation event and chapters then sponsor their own recruitment activities over a 5 day period.

     

    Students are encouraged to visit as many chapters as is practical throughout the week to discover the group that best meets their needs.

     

    Spring 2012 Information:

     

    Week 1

    • Thursday:  The fraternities will be tabling from 10-2 in Bruin Plaza.  Stop by and meet the fraternities and pick up a schedule.

     

    Week 2:

    • Events will take place from Monday-Wednesday.
    • Thursday is Bid Day.

  • Fall 2011 IFC Recruitment dates and events are:

     

    Zero Week: 

    • Saturday, September 17:  4:00 PM  1st Football game back at the Rose Bowl.  Fraternities and sororities will be wearing their GO Greek Shirts.

    • Sunday, September 18:  8:00PM.  Fraternities and Sororities will be attending Bruin Bash and Dance.  Stop by the Greek Life Sponsored Lounge to receive recruitment informaiton between the concert and dance.  The Lounge will be in Bruin Plaza by the Bear.

    • Monday, September 19:  10:00AM-2:00PM:  Enormous Activities Fair.  All fraternities will have information tables at this event near Powell Library and Royce Hall.  Stop by and meet fraternity members before the mandatory orientation.

    • Monday, September 19:  2:00PM:  Mandatory Orientation for men interested in recruitment activities in Moore 100.  By attending this event, you will meet fraternity members, listen to important information, and get prepared for the rest of the week.

    • Wednesday, September 21:  Morning:  House Tours.  You will be able to meet up and take an organized tour of UCLA's Fraternities.  This event will be hosted by the IFC Exec Board.  Evening:  Individual Chapter Recruitment Events.

    • Thursday, September 22 - Saturday, September 24:  Individual Chapter Recruitment Events:  Schedule will be posted soon.

    • Sunday, September 25:  Bid Day Activities.  More information to follow.
